The NW corner of the has now been deeply undercut at its base where a number of large stones has been eroded out by the winter floods. It is now sits above the river bank in a perilous state - generally intact but danger of complete collapse : almost a certainty next winter unless something is done beforehand. The section contains a fragment of a broken gravestone which forms the corner underlying the top course of larger stones. It contains visible geometric decoration and has a victorian look about it.
