Graveslab inside medieval church ruins at Lynally with inscription which reads 'Here lyeth the body of Thomas Coffy, clearke, master in arts of Trinity Colledge, Dublin, Vicar of Fercall, and one of his Majestie's Charles II Justices of the Peace in the Kings County who died March ye 30 1690'. The Bible with book clasps, is open on Ecclesiastes 12:1 which reads as 'Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them'. This message is a warning to young people that death comes to all and that one should live their life well, and to think of God in their youthful age. The other page from Job 19:25-26 reads 'For I know that my redeemer liveth And that he shall stand at the Later Day upon the earth and though worms destroy this body yet in my flesh I shall see god' For more information on the church ruins, visit: https://maps.archaeology.ie/HistoricEnvironment/?SMRS=OF016-031001-
