Remains of boards of the former chapter house ceiling. The ceiling boards are covered with template decoration with a motif of regular geometric rosettes inscribed in circles and primitive ornaments in forms similar to tracery. The paintings were created on whitewash with distemper, using black (currently greyed) paint on a red background. The decoration of the medieval chapter house also included figurative scenes and a ceiling frieze, probably in the form of a double belt of six-leaf rosettes in circles. The ceiling boards and a painted frieze under the ceiling were discovered in 1971 during maintenance works. They were found after removing rubble from spandrels. Two fragments of the frieze are preserved on the opposite walls of the room, above the vault. They are currently inaccessible to visitors. before 1477, Tyniec Museum of the Benedictine Abbey in Tyniec Inventory number: DR/3/2012
