This is my submission for the #sustainablecity contest. The Sunflower Village follows the course of the sun to maximize the amount of energy received. It's rolling on a giant conical bearing. The originality of this village is that it's built on a 45° slope, using a stairs pattern. Its inhabitants appreciate the ever-changing view, (and not having any neighbour within sight). Sadly, it consumes most of the energy it produces in order to rotate. It turns out moving a whole village instead of only the solar panels was not a smart move... Nevertheless it looks good, don't you think? About the model : everything was sculpted with Masterpiece VR, but the polygon count was very high, so I took the liberty to simplify some shapes using simple Blender3D tools (because, who needs thousands of vertices on big flat surfaces?). But I have not modified or created geometry with Blender3D. I'm telling this out of honesty, because I don't know if that could be considered like cheating.
