Description

Electrostatic potential map of acetone. The atoms of which the acetone consist of does not have the same electronegativities. Oxygen has a higher electronegativity than the hydrogen and carbon and thus more electron density will be around the oxygen. Electron rich areas are red and electron poor areas are blue.
