Burned landscape pre-rainfall (3D Mesh)

Description

This 3D Mesh shows a burned portion of the Las Lomas watershed along the wildland urban interface in the San Gabriel Mountains, southern California. The 3D Mesh is based on the point cloud (also on my Sketchfab) that was derived using Pix4Dmapper. The concrete structure at the mouth of the canyon is a debris retention basin designed to mitigate flash flood and debris flows hazards during rainstorms. A residential community exists just below the debris basin.
