Wooden Chest with Brass Handles

3D scan of a wooden chest with brass handles. 3D scanned with the Artec Eva and Space Spider scanners in the same session. The entire chest was scanned with the Eva in order to capture the overall shape. Next, the two brass handles and the lock were scanned with the Space Spider. Artec Studio 15 software was used to combine the two datasets and create a colorized model. Total time to scan with the Eva: 5 minutes Total time to scan with the Space Spider: 3 minutes Total time to process everything into a watertight .OBJ with texture: about 2 hours.
