Ceramic Fragment (1)

Description

It is always amazing to see the different ceramic fragments which can be found on the shore of Avoch bay. This one in particular grabbed my attention. I assume the stamped "2" relates to the capacity of the vessel, but what it contained originally, we can only guess. If anybody out there can elucidate, please feel free to comment! This piece, along with the requirement for social distancing during the Covid-19 crisis, also gave me the opportunity to 'try out' an indoor photogrammetry turntable I had made!
