MiG-23ML HUD | ASP-17ML

Description

The ASP-17ML heads up display was created by Kyiv Central Design Bureau "Arsenal" and introduced during the production of MiG-23ML. It was an evolution of the previous ASP-23D HUD, but combined with features from the simpler ASP-17 as developed for Su-17. It could display CRT symbology for radar targets and flight data, while still keeping a more traditional electromechanical gunsight as a secondary mode (АСП/РП). I had nothing but a handful of reference photos to eyeball the proportions from, so don't expect 1:1 accuracy. Modelled in Blender, textured in Substance Painter. *Reuploaded 12/02/2022 - Added animation, reworked UV maps, fixed typo in texture, optimized geometry, made the lens look like a lens*
