My entry in the February 2017 3D Scanning Challenge. A few weeks ago my son made me a "book" with paper towels, highlighter markers and staples. Best book I ever got. I took a picture of each page, front and back, mapped it onto a mesh in Blender, added staples and headed to the internet to learn lattice deformations, shape keys and basic animations - my first animation! The normal and roughness maps for the paper towel were created with [Substance Desginer 6's new photogrammetry scan processing nodes ](https://www.allegorithmic.com/blog/substance-designer-6-unleashed-now-scan-processing-and-new-nodes). Each page has an annotation translating second-grade spelling to English. Pause the animation or scrub through manually to read them. Included in the download: - The .blend file with lattice, animation, and textures - 2k paper towel albedo, height, rough, and normal textures created with SD6 - The .sbs file used to create the material
