Saint Margaret of Antioch and the Dragon

Large limestone statue representing Saint Margaret, French XV Century. From the Château de Seynier, canton de Fayet (Puy-de-Dôme). This statue has been broken in two at one time and repaired. Saint Margaret is carrying a padlock in left hand to which is attached a heavy chain securing a dragon which is crouched under her foot.
