The blade, sides, faces and butt are ground but not polished. The sides have remnant flake scars. The edge is blunt, smooth and waterworn. Nodular weathering and exfoliation are evident on both faces. The findspot is [Newcastle](https://www.logainm.ie/en/32657), Ballymahon, [Longford](https://www.geonames.org/2962840/longford.html).
