Seepage Velocity Streamtubes

Description

Three dimensional Head data was used to determine Head gradients volumetrically. C Tech's Seepage Velocity module was then used to compute the groundwater flow field resulting from the material properties (anistotropic conductivities and effective porosities). Starting positions at constant head near two injection wells were used to investigate the complex flow paths to a series of wells. The flow paths are visualized using stream-tubes which are colored and sized according to the seepage velocity.
