This large fountain covers the entire back wall of the Casa del Torello di Bronzo (V.1.7). They were scanned as part of the 2022 Pompeii Water and Sanitation Project field school run by the University of Missouri. The fountain is divided in to three alcoves, with extensive traces of plaster including plaster painted to look like marble. There are mosaic panels in front. Water would have cascaded down from each alcove, but also shot out from small jets set around the wall of the basin. On the left side of the fountain there is a junction box with valves for controlling the water. More information and photos can be seen on Pompeii in Pictures, here: https://www.pompeiiinpictures.com/pompeiiinpictures/R5/5%2001%2007.htm The model was generated in Agisoft Metashape from 417 photos taken using a Nikon Z5. Photo alignment was run on high, as was model generation - model has been decimated for export, and made manifold for 3D printing.
