Description
Moderate yellow medium micaceous sandstone. The sample shows a massive to coarse parallel lamination and its medium reaction to HCl indicates carbonatic cementation. Its grains are well sorted, sub-angular to sub-rounded, and consist of grains of Quartz, feldespars, muscovite and biotite (+mafic minerals and oxides). There are some fossil casts from previous bivalves shells.
