Aurichalcite 3-5-2020

Description

Specimen containing blue aurichalcite (hydrated Zn-Cu carbonate) from the Keeler Mine, southeast of Salt Lake City, Utah. The sample is 7 cm in longest dimension. The fine grained matrix is mostly limonite, an iron hydroxide mineral.
