A complete copper alloy buckle chape of Post Medieval dating (AD 1600 to AD 1800). The chape has a single sharp point, with a hinge at the bottom. The base of the chape has concave sides before terminating in another probable hinge. A maker's mark is present beneath the sharp point on the obverse.
