Pharmacy mortar

Description

The presented classicist apothecary mortar was cast in bronze in 1822. This is evidenced by the inscription ANNO DOMINI MDCCCXXII between the rings above the base of the vessel. Mortar made in the Colbachin foundry in Bassano.
