The goddess Isis was popular throughout the Roman Empire. Her draped garment and her wig with a vulture cap and crown, consisting of ostrich feathers and cow's horns with the sun disk in between, show her Egyptian origins. As the queen of heaven, Isis regina is holding a lotus flower on which Harpocatres is sitting, her son with the god Osiris. Bronze, Egypt ca. 1st century AD. Inventory number: 7974
