PWR Nuclear Reactor

Description

Simplified reproduction of the dome building of a nuclear Pressurized Water Reactor. The 3D model served as reference for the construction of a physical model for the exhibition Nuclear Energy, installed at the Casa da Ciência (House of Science), UFRJ. In particular, the core of the reactor shows water circulation systems, control bars, enriched uranium rods and the containment pool for rejects.
