Sweet Gum Tree Fruit

Description

This seed pod is from a Sweet Gum tree. The pod measures about 1.25" in diameter and rattles ever so slightly when you shake it. I picked it up a couple of months ago and tried (unsuccessfully, repeatedly) to create a model out of it. Finally I went overboard with photos and found something that would hold it it place and not let it roll around while I was photographing, and it has turned out (hooray!).
