Rini: The Baby Narwhal

Description

Created in SculptGL. Made for an assignment for a CS475 class. 3D model of a baby narwhal, but colored similarly to a real-life narwhal plushie. Fun fact: Baby narwhals are a light-blue-gray color. So, this model and the narwhal plushie are not too far off from the real thing. Turned out a little lighter than expected, but it works. As juveniles, narwhals turn a blue-black color. Then as adults they are a mottled gray color. Narwhals then age into the white color that we usually see.
