**Location:** Cala del Cuervo, Las Negras, Cabo de Gata Natural Park, Spain **Longitude:** -2.001354 **Latitude:** 36.872672 The model shows two units: a basal coarser unit, with rounded volcanic clasts and rhodoliths, and carbonatic turbidites above it. The transition from basal unit to turbidites is marked by the disappearance of rhodoliths and the appearance of mudstone/grainstone layers. The basal unit sits unconformably on top of the volcanic basement, which is just a few meters below sea level at this location.
