Leiston Abbey was a Premonstatensian foundation in Suffolk, England, dissolved in the C16th. As with many such structures, valuable stone cladding was plundered for re-use in the locality. This example at Leiston shows the rubble and flint infill that is typical of this area. It has a pleasing amount of depth to it. Captured 23-07-2015 3:30pm
