Mechanical Sculpture: Cosmic Turtle

Description

Based on an ancient legend, this mechanical sculpture depicts the Cosmic Turtle, carrier of the world, swimming throughout his natural habitat. This is a team project I designed and fabricated Freshman year at Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering. After completion I cleaned up the CAD, colored the model, and uploaded to Sketchfab.
