A cup-and-ring mark is visible on an exposure of bedrock in a field of improved pasture 260m NE of Mecknock farmsteading (NS05NW 17). The exposure measures about 3.8m from N to S by 2m transversely; the cup mark measures 18mm in diameter by 3mm in depth and lies within a faint ring mark 33mm in diameter. What looks like another cup, touching the NW edge of the ring, is probably natural. The carvings are situated 4.6m SE of a cup-and-ring marked boulder (NS05NW 8).
