Bede's Historia ecclesiastica gentis Anglorum, with the Continuo Bedae and two miracle stories, formerly owned by - and possibly produced at - the Benedictine Abbey of (Mönchen-)Gladbach, Germany in the twelfth century. Ancient binding, parchment over wooden boards, carefully restored. The 12th century script is in double columns of 31 lines, a very fine upright minuscule. Some coloured initials.
