Athena

Description

Athena, 2nd century A.D., marble, Nye Carlsberg Glyptotek (Copenhagen, Denmark). Made with Memento Beta. Athena wears a large aegis with a medusa head on her chest. Both arms were attached with iron dowels. The left held a spear and the right was stretched forward towards the viewer. There are many versions of this type.
