One of the ornamental vases that used to be on top of the larger columns around Francisco de Castro's palace. It is made of cement mortar, reinforced with an inner metalic structure. There were 17 in total, one for each column. They were not decorative objects in themselves, but also held plants. Many have been heavily damaged because the metallic caps used for draining water cloged. Others were vandalised.
