Sirin

Description

Sirin - in ancient Russian art and legends, a bird of paradise with a girl's head. Sirin is believed to represent the Slavic image of the Greek sirens. Often depicted with another bird of paradise, Alkonost, but Sirin's head is sometimes uncovered, and a halo is located around it. According to folk legend, in the morning on Apple Spas, the bird Sirin flies into the apple orchard, which is sad and crying.
