Box Burial Mod1

Description

A square, stone-lined feature found in trench 2 east, excavated on September 18th, 2021. When the feature was originally uncovered in 2019, there was an overlying, fully articulated burial, with head to mid-torso within the bounds of the box. When the base stones were removed on September 19th, it was found that there was a relatively thick substrata of fine clay.
