The Eik stone was found in the river Sokna. Originally it was placed by a bridge. The inscription tells us who built the bridge: "Sakse made, giving thanks to God, this bridge for the soul of his mother, Turid". The inscription is dated to the first half of the 11th century AD. Museums ID: S12874
