Eastern Box Turtle

Description

Eastern box turtle (Terrapene carolina carolina) in the yard in Richmond, Virginia. Of course it tucked its head in as I was scanning while balanced on a tree stump, but there's a nice view of its shell and a couple of legs. Scanned with Trnio plus in ARKit mode on an iphone 13 pro.
