Catalog Number: YPM ANT.249229 Description: Ceremonial pipe with square bowl and cylindrical stem. Dull polish with sandstone scraping marks still visible. Red paste from Dinelitto Wash. Decoration consists of rain clouds with lightning and rain carved on the bowl, which also attains a facial form. Size: Ht. 2" (5.2cm); Width. 2 5/16" (6cm); Lgth. 5" (12.8cn). Made by Treva Burton and fired in an electric kiln. Signed: "T. Burton, Old Oraibi, Ariz." Hopi, Old Oraibi, 3rd Mesa, Arizona, Southwest USA. Southwest region.
