3D outcrop model of sand intrusions present in the Teleajen River, part of the studied outcrops (fig. 8) presented in [Tamas et al., 2020](http://doi.org/10.1144/jgs2019-107). Sand intrusions are commonly associated with hydrocarbon-bearing clastic reservoirs and they can host a significant part of the reserves. In the Eastern Carpathians Bend Zone, Romania, the Oligocene and lower Miocene succession offer spectacular exposures of deepwater siliciclastic rocks modified by remobilization and sand-intrusion processes.
