Column base

Description

The presented base of a column belongs to the collection of architectural details from the Romanesque monastic foundation in Tyniec. The attic type base is preserved together with a fragment of a column shaft. A prominent torus is visible in the upper part of the base. 4th quarter of the 11th century, Tyniec Museum of the Benedictine Abbey in Tyniec Inventory number: DA/180/2012
