Fresh Human Heart Donation #622

Description

This is a fresh human heart that was donated for research. The donor was a 27 year old female with a history of smoking and substance abuse. The donor had no known cardiac history. The heart was suspended for 3D scanning, and provides a good view of the ventricular anatomy, highlighting the distribution of epicardial fat and coronary vasculature in relation to the myocardium.
