Material: [Bronze](http://vocab.getty.edu/page/aat/300010957). Accession no: HCA 617. Current location: [The Hunt Museum](https://www.huntmuseum.com/), [Limerick](https://www.geonames.org/7778675/limerick-city.html). The Cashel [Bell](http://vocab.getty.edu/page/aat/300041874), which is a four-sided bell, is widest at the mouth and tapering towards the crown. The handle emerges from the crown in a semi-circular loop. The bell dates from the [9th century](http://n2t.net/ark:/99152/p0zj6g8wxtb) but the present handle is a [20th century](http://n2t.net/ark:/99152/p0kh9dstg2x) replacement. This bell was found near [Cashel](http://www.geonames.org/2965664/cashel.html) in [1849](http://n2t.net/ark:/99152/p06c6g3zwjd). [More](https://tinyurl.com/47r5xxfa).
