Left section of gypsum wall panel relief: showing the netting of deer. Herd of deer hunted from the left discover that a net has been cast across their escape route; one huntsman holds an entangled stag by the antlers. This panel dates to 645 BC - 635 BC, and was discovered in room S of Ashurbanpial's North Palace. It was acquired by the British Museum in 1856. Height: 71.12 centimetres Width: 101.6 centimetres
