White-headed Marsh Tyrant Arundinicola leucocephala [MLZ 65953](https://arctos.database.museum/guid/MLZ:Bird:65953) 4 January 1910 Collected by M. A. Carriker Physical specimen held by the Moore Laboratory of Zoology, Occidental College, Los Angeles, CA A smaller flycatcher with a South American distribution, the White-headed Marsh Tyrant is primarily named due to the male plumage (Males having a bright white head and an entirely black body). The specimen here is the less-conspicusouly marked female, but still features a lighter head against a duskier body.
