Streull Wells - graffiti palimpsest

Description

Struell Wells are a set of four holy wells aproximately 1.5 miles east of Downpatrick, County Down, Northern Ireland. The wells date from before the time of Saint Patrick. It was a popular place of pilgrimage from the 1600s until the 1840s.
