Created using photogrammetry techniques. Programs used in order were Reality Capture steam edition to create a high poly model from pictures and video captures, Maya to model a low poly version of the knot and surrounding areas, xNormal to imprint the real world textures onto the low poly model, and substance painter to bring it all together. Knot was post processed to give it a borderlands style art.
