The FloDar project will be using Adafruit and industrial parts in order to accomplish the task of remotely monitoring a water reclamation site. There are three independent variables that will be measured by the project: temperature, turbidity, and flow rate of water. Temperature will be measured using a thermocouple acquired via Adafruit (MAX31856); turbidity measured using a "Gravity" analog turbidity sensor (SKU: SEN0189); and the flow of water will be measured using an ultrasonic flowmeter device (TUF-2000M). The data collected by the sensors will be stored on SD card - located on the OPEnS Hypnos project board - and transmitted via the Adafruit Feather M0 LoRa board, allowing for more remote transmission than that of WiFi.
