This is one of many 3D scans of a late 1800s blue glazed, ceramic stoneware mixing bowl sherd found at the McClure Archaeological Site. Located in the Shawnee National forest, the McClure farmstead is part of a freed African-American community known as Miller Grove. This piece was found during an SIUC summer 2019 Field School excavation. This field school was mentored by Dr. Mark J. Wagner, Director of the Center for Archaeological Investigations.
