Feature B at 42Sa27020, located just outside of Moab, Utah, is an ephemeral pit structure with a large roasting pit, a small hearth, and several small storage features. Macobotanical samples recovered from the fill include charred beans, corn, and pinyon seeds. Artifacts recovered included numerous projectile points, drills, ground stone, and a variety of pottery types. Based on the pottery, the structure likely dates to the PII-PIII period.
