A [17th or 18th century](http://n2t.net/ark:/99152/p06c6g3dwcc) blue and white [Chinese](http://www.geonames.org/1814991/people-s-republic-of-china.html) bowl with a slightly [fluted](http://vocab.getty.edu/page/aat/300010233) rim. The outside of the bowl is decorated with panels showing river and mountain landscapes and panels with floral designs. The inside rim is decorated with a border of hatched lines.
