Coat of arms on the Vienna Post Office building, designed and built by Otto Wagner in 1904-1908. The coat of arms, a double-headed eagle of the Habsburg-Lorraine dynasty, was the common emblem of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. In the center the house coat of arms Habsburg-Lothiringen in a heart shield, above the Austrian imperial crown and the Order of the Golden Fleece (hanging ram) at the bottom.
