N- Methylacetamide

Description

Model of N-Methylacetamide (or 1-(Methylamino)-1-ethanone). The model is primarily aimed at highlighting the overall geometry of the amide bond. The atom in Blue represents the Nitrogen atom and the atom in Red represents the Oxygen atom. The Carbons are shown in Grey and the Hydrogens in White. Please note that the double bond between Carbon and Oxygen is not shown in the stick figure model, but that the double bond is assumed to be present.
