Haitian decorative rattle

Description

Creator: Unknown Date of Creation: 2010s About 6 inches in length Materials: Calabash gourd, wood, seed beads, plastic sequins. Gourd rattle covered with fabric. Colorful sequined and beaded orb. (pruple, green, and gold) and handle (orange and gold). Orange seed beads form the base of the wooden handle and the orb is covered with sequins and beads. Acquired by Dr. Kyrah Malika Daniels in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
