Albarello is a type of an apothecary vessel incurved in the middle. Mithridate is a multi-ingredient preparation (a kind of a preserve), developed in the 1st century BC by Mithridates VI Eupator of Pontus. The remedy was thought to be a universal antidote and eventually gained fame as a panacea. In the 18th century, it was a valued remedy for gastric diseases.
